Dr. Naina Maharjan


Dr Naina Maharjan ( PT ), is a graduate of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health of Sciences, Karnataka, India.Dr Maharjan attended her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Dr Maharjan was trained at the A.J hospital and Research Centre at the Department of Neurology and Neuro Surgery, General Surgery and General Medicine, Cardiothoracic and ICU, Paediatrics, OPD and Community Based Rehabilitation and Orthopedics during her residency. Afterwards, she was also appointed as a physical therapist at Ave Maria Palliative Care in Vamanjor, Mangalore. She was able to provide Physiotherapy consultation and management that rewarded in an overall improvement of the patient’s satisfaction. She focused on the evaluation and analyzation of patient’s injuries and conditions which resulted in overall satisfaction of patients and her professors.

She presented a scientific poster, a literature review on “Effect of Pilates exercise for improving balance in older adults”.She also attended CME on Multidisciplinary Approach in Cancer Rehabilitation. Her practice focuses on the immediate effect of Muscle Energy Technique in individuals with mechanical low back pain. She completed her training in Aerobics, Spinning, Pre and Postnatal fitness, Primary and Advance pilates, Fitness Diet and Nutrition, Advanced fitness, Gym at Indian Academy of Fitness Training. She was also elected as the student council member due to interactive and communication skill proficiency. Currently, Dr. Maharjan holds a certificate from the Nepal Health Professional Council. She has been providing service to Aaashas Health Care, Jawalakhel, Patan since September 2019.
